Embodying the principle of scientific and research cooperation with educational institutions in Iraq, two academic staff members from Karbala Technical Institute, one of the formations of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, participated in the activities of the Third International Scientific Conference for Medical Sciences and Advanced Technology, held by the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, Holy Karbala Branch, at Al-Zahrawi University College within the college’s halls.
The participation involved presenting scientific research by Lect. Ahmed Khudhair Abdul Ridha, an academic staff member in the Community Health Department, in collaboration with the Head of the Medical Laboratory Technology Department, Asst. Lect. Aqeel Salman Abdul Salam. The research, titled “Study the Prevalence of Helicobacter Pylori Infection and its Association with Anemia among Dyspeptic Patients in the Holy Province of Karbala,” was delivered during the participating research discussion sessions. At the end of the sessions, they were awarded the Shield of Excellence and Creativity.
