As part of the Institute’s Deanship policy of opening up to other state institutions and fostering community cooperation to serve the institute’s affiliates and students, and under the generous sponsorship of the Institute’s Deanship and the Department Presidency, a scientific and guidance seminar titled “Electronic Extortion” was held in cooperation with the National Security Agency.

The seminar was attended by the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, representing the Dean, along with a number of staff members from various divisions and units. The seminar aimed to raise awareness about the proper use of the internet, specifically social media platforms, while maintaining user privacy and protecting data from hacking attacks or misuse. It also included an explanation of the operating mechanisms of these platforms.

In conclusion, the lecturer, Engineer Essam Kamil, provided advice and preventative measures to help individuals protect themselves and avoid falling victim to electronic extortion.
