Among the millions of pilgrims walking towards Karbala, there is a scene that inspires hope… children innocently repeating the names of the Ahl al-Bayt (Peace Be Upon Them), racing to memorize them, while smiles of joy appear on their faces when they answer successfully.
At the Karbala Polytechnic College procession, the service was not limited to food, water, or healthcare, but extended to human development through a distinguished educational initiative supervised by the affiliate Sumaya Mohammed Mohammed Ridha Al-Abadi. This initiative aims to introduce children to the names of the fourteen infallible Imams (Peace Be Upon Them) in a simplified manner that combines learning, play, and love.
Colorful cutouts, interactive questions, and symbolic gifts… but in reality, they are seeds planted in young hearts to yield knowledge, love, and loyalty to the Household of the Prophet (Peace Be Upon Them).
The most beautiful part of the scene is that fathers and mothers have become partners in this initiative, repeating the blessed names with their children as they continue walking towards Imam Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him). The path transforms into an open school, every procession becomes a platform for education, and every step a lesson in faith.
It is a message confirming that serving Hussein (Peace Be Upon Him) is not merely feeding the hungry or aiding the exhausted, but also building awareness, instilling values, and creating a generation that knows its role models and carries the morals of Karbala in its heart before reaching it with its feet.
Peace be upon Hussein… and upon children who learned on his path that the greatest of gifts is knowledge, and the most beautiful beginnings start with the name of Mohammed and the family of Mohammed.
