The Dean of Karbala Polytechnic College, Prof. Dr. Fadel Mohammed Dhaher, held a meeting with the Associate Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Fadel Al-Yasiri; the Director of the Quality Assurance and Performance Division, Asst. Prof. Ali Nima Abdul-Zahra; the Heads of Administrative Departments; the Directors of Quality Assurance and Performance Units in the departments; and the College Website Administrator, to discuss the requirements of the evaluation form for the scientific and academic reality of administrative specializations and its approved axes for the current year.
The meeting addressed the most prominent axes of the form, focusing on the axes added to the evaluation for this year, the mechanisms for completing the required data, documents, and evidence, and preparing the supporting documentation that reflects the level of scientific, academic, and administrative performance of the college according to approved standards.
The Dean emphasized the importance of integrating efforts among the relevant departments, divisions, and units, preparing all requirements, evidence, and documents specific to the evaluation axes, and working to achieve the best results and scores that enhance the college’s position in the evaluation. He pointed out that the advanced ranks achieved by the college in previous evaluations represent a motivation to continue working and elevating the level of performance.
He also stressed the necessity of treating the evaluation process as a tool for developing institutional performance and improving the quality of academic and administrative work, rather than merely completing requirements, while adopting accuracy, organization, and documentation in preparing the files and data for each axis.
This meeting comes as part of Karbala Polytechnic College’s preparations for the evaluation and quality assurance entitlements, and its keenness to consolidate the standards of institutional performance and elevate the level of its outcomes, in alignment with the directions of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in enhancing the quality of education and academic and administrative performance.
