Within the framework of Karbala Polytechnic College’s strategy aimed at enhancing field monitoring and elevating the level of academic, administrative, and service performance, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Fadel Mohammed Dhaher, accompanied by the Associate Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Fadel Al-Yasiri, conducted an inspection tour that included the Technical Laboratories and Workshops Unit and the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, to review the workflow, monitor the level of services provided, and support the university work environment.
During his visit to the Technical Laboratories and Workshops Unit, the Dean reviewed the reality of the educational laboratories and workshops, the mechanisms for organizing work within them, and the extent of their readiness to support the practical aspects for students. He emphasized the importance of providing an advanced training environment and paying attention to the periodic maintenance of equipment and devices, which contributes to enhancing the quality of technical education and achieving educational goals.
The tour also included the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, where he reviewed the nature of the counseling programs and activities provided to students, which contribute to raising the level of their psychological and social adjustment and academic achievement.
During the tour, the Dean emphasized the importance of integration between administrative and scientific units in providing qualitative services to students, stressing the need to continue developing performance and activating initiatives that contribute to improving the work environment and elevating the quality of services, in alignment with the college’s mission and goals in preparing distinguished scientific and technical cadres.
This tour comes as part of the continuous field monitoring program adopted by the Deanship of Karbala Polytechnic College, in alignment with the directions of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aimed at developing the university environment, enhancing the quality of academic and administrative performance, and elevating the services provided to students and university affiliates.
