The Head of the Tourism Technology Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Laila Jawad Hussein, an academic staff member at Karbala Polytechnic College / Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, participated in the proceedings of the Seventh International Conference on Humanities and Social Sciences. The conference was organized by the International Union of Historians in cooperation with the College of Political Science at the University of Kufa and the College of Education at the University of Sulaymaniyah. It was held under the slogan: “The Role of Humanities in Enhancing Global Understanding and Peace, Intercultural Communication,” for the period from August 27–28, 2025, in the Kurdistan Region – Sulaymaniyah.
During the conference sessions, the researcher presented her research titled: “Strategic Behavior and Its Impact on Developing the Tourism Sector: A Field Analytical Study of the Opinions of a Sample of Academic Staff at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University.” The academic staff member received a letter of thanks and appreciation in recognition of her scientific contribution and distinguished efforts at the conference.
This participation comes within the framework of the university’s endeavor to encourage its researchers and academic staff towards scientific openness and active participation in international conferences, thereby enhancing its academic and research position.
