The academic staff member at Karbala Polytechnic College, Prof. Maitham Salem Attiya, chaired a master’s thesis defense committee at the Health and Medical Technical College / Kufa, affiliated with Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University. The thesis addressed the application of the risk classification protocol in antenatal care clinics and its impact on the early detection of high-risk pregnancies in the Holy Najaf Governorate / Iraq, in the presence of the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi.
The thesis addressed the importance of applying risk classification protocols in antenatal care clinics and their role in the early detection of high-risk pregnancies, which contributes to improving the quality of healthcare and enhancing the follow-up and referral mechanisms for cases requiring specialized care.
The defense took place in a scientific and academic atmosphere, witnessing the researcher’s presentation of the thesis topic, its methodology, and its results, and the discussion of its scientific axes by the committee members, as well as providing scientific remarks and recommendations that would enhance the research value of the study.
The participation of Prof. Maitham Salem Attiya comes within the framework of the scientific presence of Karbala Polytechnic College’s academic staff and their participations in discussions and research events, which enhances academic cooperation between the formations of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, and supports the journey of scientific research and community service.
