It is an administrative unit under the office of the respected Dean, established on 19th February 2023.
The Women’s Empowerment Unit is one of the most important units working to eliminate all forms of discrimination against women. Through its mechanisms, it aims to assist women in becoming self-reliant and enhancing their academic and social development. This approach fosters a more inclusive and participatory development process between men and women. Consequently, development is not merely a social welfare service for women, but rather a social development initiative that enables women to possess the economic and social power necessary for self-reliance. This, in turn, improves their conditions continuously and empowers them to participate in decision-making processes.
Objectives:
Unit Tasks:
1. Collaborating with educational, cultural institutions, and community organizations to achieve the unit’s goals.
2. Organizing seminars, workshops, and training programs in various fields to support the development of women’s capabilities in society.
3. Holding educational and scientific seminars to combat violence against women and raise awareness about the importance of eradicating all forms of domestic violence.
4. Encouraging female faculty members, staff, and students to:
