An academic staff member in the Finance and Banking Technology Department at Karbala Polytechnic College, Asst. Lect. Ali Fasil Al-Daami, published a scientific article on the Al-Nabaa Information Network website titled “When Artificial Intelligence Goes Beyond Analysis: Towards the Era of Autonomous Financial Decision-Making.” In it, he addressed the rapid transformations witnessed by the financial sector with the development of artificial intelligence technologies and its growing role in financial decision-making.
The article focused on the transition from using artificial intelligence as a tool for analyzing data and providing forecasts to employing it in building systems capable of making financial decisions autonomously, while highlighting the implications of this transformation for financial and banking institutions and the nature of financial work in the future.
This scientific participation comes within the framework of the interest of Karbala Polytechnic College’s academic staff in following contemporary technical and economic transformations, and linking academic specializations to the issues witnessed by professional sectors. This contributes to enriching scientific knowledge and enhancing the college’s presence in both the academic and media fields.
The publication of the article reflects the interest of the Finance and Banking Technology Department in emerging issues in the financial sector, especially the intersection of technology and artificial intelligence with banking operations and financial decisions. This aligns with the directions of Karbala Polytechnic College and Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University in supporting research, scientific output, and the development of academic competencies.
