Within Karbala Polytechnic College’s strategy to enhance digital transformation and elevate academic and administrative performance, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Fadel Mohammed Dhaher, held an expanded meeting with the heads of scientific departments, in the presence of the Associate Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Fadel Al-Yasiri, to discuss a number of files related to electronic systems and digital programs approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The meeting discussed the completion stages of the Student Information System (SIS) requirements, emphasizing the completion of data entry and updating to ensure the accuracy of information and the rapid completion of academic and administrative procedures, in alignment with the requirements of digital transformation in higher education institutions.
The Dean also emphasized the importance of following up on the completion rates for the HEPIQ platform and expediting the completion of student registration procedures on it, given its importance in supporting institutional performance quality indicators and documenting academic data according to approved standards.
The meeting also addressed the mechanisms for activating the accounts of the academic staff on the IQ Learn platform, emphasizing its effective utilization in supporting the educational process, developing e-learning, and enhancing academic communication between the academic staff and students, in alignment with the requirements of modern university education.
During the meeting, the Dean stressed the need to adhere to the specified timelines for completing all electronic requirements and to enhance coordination between the scientific departments and the relevant authorities, which contributes to raising the efficiency of institutional performance and achieving the highest levels of quality in academic and administrative services.
This meeting comes within the framework of the continuous follow-up adopted by the Deanship of Karbala Polytechnic College, in alignment with the directions of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aimed at supporting digital transformation, enhancing electronic governance systems, and elevating the quality of academic and administrative performance in higher education institutions.
