Within the framework of Karbala Polytechnic College’s strategy aimed at developing infrastructure and upgrading the university environment, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Fadel Mohammed Dhaher, conducted a field tour to monitor the works of the electric pedestrian bridge project dedicated to serving the college’s students. The project is implemented in cooperation with the Holy Karbala Governorate, in order to review the completion rates and advanced implementation stages of the project.
During the tour, the Dean reviewed the progress of ongoing works and listened to an explanation from the supervising engineering and technical cadres regarding the implementation stages and the achieved completion rates, as well as the work mechanisms and timelines for completing the project according to the approved technical and engineering specifications.
The Dean emphasized the importance of adhering to the highest standards of quality and engineering safety, and the necessity of accelerating the pace of work to ensure the project’s completion within the specified timeframes. He praised the fruitful cooperation with the Holy Karbala Governorate in implementing this vital project, which will contribute to enhancing students’ safety, organizing their crossing movement, and providing a safer and smoother university environment.
He pointed out that the electric pedestrian bridge project is considered one of the important service projects that reflects the college’s keenness to provide advanced infrastructure that keeps pace with academic expansion and contributes to improving the services provided to students, thereby enhancing the quality of the educational environment and raising the level of safety within the university campus.
This field monitoring comes as part of the approach adopted by the Deanship of Karbala Polytechnic College in directly supervising construction and service projects, in alignment with the directions of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aimed at developing infrastructure, enhancing partnership with local governments, and upgrading the quality of university services in a way that serves students and achieves sustainable development goals.
