Within the framework of Karbala Polytechnic College’s strategy aimed at developing its university environment and upgrading its service facilities, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Fadel Mohammed Dhaher, conducted a field tour to monitor the ongoing rehabilitation and development works in several of the college’s facilities and its surroundings, in preparation for receiving students and academic staff for the new academic year 2026–2027.
The tour included inspecting the main gate of the college and the electric pedestrian bridge project opposite the college. This bridge, completed in cooperation with the Holy Karbala Governorate, is dedicated to serving the college’s students and providing safe and organized crossing for them and the academic staff. The tour also involved reviewing the readiness of the facilities surrounding the project and the requirements for utilizing them with the start of the new academic year.
The Dean emphasized the importance of completing the rehabilitation and preparation works according to technical and service requirements. He also stressed the need to optimally utilize the implemented projects in a way that contributes to enhancing the smooth movement of students and academic staff, while providing a university environment that is safer and more suitable for the educational process.
This follow-up comes as part of Karbala Polytechnic College’s preparations for the 2026–2027 academic year, in alignment with the directions of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University regarding the development of infrastructure, the improvement of the university environment, and the enhancement of services provided to students and academic staff.
