Under the guidance of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, and as part of the “Agricultural – Prosperity” project, under the direct supervision of the Dean of the Technical Institute of Karbala, Professor Dr. Fadhil Muhammad Dhahir, the qualification course for graduates to enter the labor market in the agricultural sector has commenced. The course is being held at the Institute from July 21, 2025, to July 24, 2025.
A select group of professors and specialists are participating in delivering the lectures, including Professor Dr. Maher Hamid Majeed from the Technical Institute of Karbala, Mr. Ali Abdul Hussein Abdul Amir, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department, Associate Professor Dr. Salam Muhammad Ali Hadi from the Technical Institute of Al-Mussaib, and Associate Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdul Mahdi Muhammad Ali from the College of Health and Medical Technologies in Kufa.
The course management team includes Mr. Ali Abdul Hussein Abdul Amir, Director of the Scientific Affairs Department, Associate Professor Dr. Amir Hussein Muhammad, Head of the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Division, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Zahra Mahdi, Lecturer in the Department of Biotechnology, Dr. Mustafa Hassan Waryoush, Lecturer at the Technical Institute of Al-Mussaib, and Mr. Wissam Kazim Muhammad, Technical Engineer at the Technical Institute of Karbala.
Graduates of agricultural specializations from various colleges and institutes are participating in the course. The program aims to develop their skills and enhance their integration opportunities into the agricultural labor market through specialized training modules covering modern agricultural techniques, marketing mechanisms, and agricultural investment.
This initiative is part of the university’s commitment to activating qualification and employment programs and connecting graduates with real job opportunities. This aligns with the plans of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to support vital productive sectors.
