Within Karbala Polytechnic College’s strategy to consolidate the quality of education and enhance the academic environment supporting excellence, the Business Administration Technology Department organized a workshop titled “Women’s Economic Empowerment: From Idea to Market.” The event was held at the department’s hall, attended by a gathering of faculty members and staff.

The workshop was organized in harmony with the college’s plans aimed at developing scientific and professional capabilities. It covered multiple topics, including generating entrepreneurial ideas, market research, financial planning, and marketing mechanisms. Furthermore, it highlighted inspiring success stories and practical models of successful projects to enhance the culture of initiative and self-employment.

The event witnessed distinguished scientific interaction, represented by in-depth interventions and discussions that reflected the participants’ awareness of the importance of women’s economic empowerment and its role in sustainable development. Additionally, visions and proposals were presented to contribute to the practical application of the discussed concepts.

Asst. Lect. Amir Hussein Ali confirmed that these activities represent one of the basic pillars in developing academic performance. They reflect the college’s commitment to preparing qualified competencies capable of keeping pace with labor market requirements and contemporary cognitive transformations.

This activity comes within the framework of the directions of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and in harmony with the strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aimed at elevating the quality of university education and enhancing the partnership between the academic institution and society.
