The Head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, Asst. Lect. Mohammed Hamid Kadhim, conducted a guidance trip to Al-Hilla College. This activity was part of guidance initiatives aimed at introducing students to the university atmosphere and available specializations, contributing to enhancing their academic awareness and helping them choose their future educational paths.
The trip included an introductory tour of the college departments, as well as meetings with a number of professors, which had a positive impact on motivating students and enhancing their awareness of the importance of continuing their educational journey.
On the sidelines of the trip, the Unit Head delivered an awareness seminar titled “Electronic Blackmail,” in which he addressed the dangers of this phenomenon and ways to prevent it, in addition to the correct methods of dealing with it if exposed. The goal was to raise the level of digital awareness among students and protect them from risks associated with the use of cyberspace.
The seminar received positive interaction from the students and contributed to enhancing their digital culture and establishing safe behavior in dealing with electronic media, within the framework of the Unit’s keenness to provide a safe and supportive educational environment for students.
