Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Ridha Marza, Head of the Community Health Techniques Department at Karbala Polytechnic College, actively engaged in the proceedings of the 18th European Public Health Conference, convened in Finland from November 12–15. The prestigious international event brought together leading global researchers, practitioners, and public health experts.

Dr. Marza presented his latest scientific research paper, entitled: “Healthy Lifestyle Score and Cardiovascular Diseases: Findings from Three European Health Surveys.” The study offers a comprehensive analysis of how healthy lifestyle indices influence cardiovascular disease outcomes, utilizing data from three major European health surveys to underscore the critical link between behavioral health interventions and chronic disease prevention.

This active participation aligns with the college’s strategic objectives to fortify the international presence of its academic faculty, promote high-impact collaborative research, and integrate cutting-edge global advancements into the fields of public health and medical sciences.
