Iraqi Academics Syndicate Honors Dean of the Technical Institute of Karbala with the Shield of Creativity and Excellence for His Distinguished International Engagement

The Iraqi Academics Syndicate – Holy Karbala Branch honored Professor Dr. Fadhil Mohammed Thahir Al-Mayahy, Dean of the Technical Institute of Karbala at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, by awarding him the Shield of Creativity and Excellence. The recognition comes in appreciation of his outstanding contributions and active participation in international scientific forums.

The award was presented alongside an official letter of appreciation from the Syndicate. In the letter, Professor Dr. Munir Abdul-Ali Abbas Al-Daami, Head of the Syndicate’s Karbala Branch, praised Dr. Al-Mayahy’s distinguished representation of the Syndicate during the proceedings of the Fourth International Scientific Conference on Knowledge and the Hussaini Mission, held on June 7, 2025. The event was organized by the Iraqi Academics Syndicate in Karbala in collaboration with Qom University and the International Arbaeen Cultural Committee.

The Syndicate emphasized that this recognition reflects high regard for Dr. Al-Mayahy’s scholarly and academic efforts in advancing education and scientific research, as well as his continuous commitment to representing Iraq in a manner befitting its status.

This achievement further enhances the standing of the Technical Institute of Karbala as a prominent academic institution actively engaged in scientific and cultural exchange with international organizations, affirming its leading role in serving the community and strengthening global academic relations.
