A large-scale campaign has been launched to invest in arablelands at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University.

In pursuit of an ideal university environment and in line with the sustainability slogan adopted by Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Karbala Technical Institute launched a campaign to utilize arable land. This campaign began with the reclamation and preparation of available spaces at the institute to be planted with fruit-bearing trees, evergreen plants, flowers, and other plants that can be utilized in various fields. Dr. Fadel Mohammed Dhaher, the Dean of the Institute, participated in the launch of this campaign, accompanied by the Administrative Assistant, Dr. Mohammed Fadel Nima, and several institute staff members. They worked together to prepare the land, which will be planted with citrus trees, according to the planned schedule.

In a statement, the Dean emphasized that the institute’s administration had developed a comprehensive and well-thought-out plan, identifying suitable spaces and selecting plant types. Additionally, the institute opted for innovative irrigation methods, drawing on the expertise of the available staff. He assured that the project would proceed according to the established timetable, expressing gratitude for all efforts made to achieve the desired objectives.
