2. Dean of Karbala Technical Institute Welcomes a Delegation from the Ministry of Industry and Minerals

In alignment with the Institute’s commitment to supporting graduates by enhancing their opportunities for employment, and in coordination with relevant ministries, Professor Dr. Fadel Mohammed Zaher, Dean of Karbala Technical Institute, welcomed Dr. Huda Qasim Khazal, representative of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, in his office. The meeting, attended by Dr. Najim Abdul Ali Abbas, Director of the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the Institute, focused on ways to support the graduates of our Institute. This was achieved through an agreement on a strategy for employing graduates from various disciplines, in line with the Ministry’s initiative in the fields of industrial development, food industries, engineering, construction, textiles, and chemicals. Additionally, the meeting agreed to open direct communication channels and form a joint committee to implement recommendations that serve the interests of graduates.

It is worth noting that the Middle Euphrates Technical University established the Qualification, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the Institute, which works to qualify graduates based on labor market needs by organizing various training courses. It also coordinates with governmental and non-governmental institutions and companies to find employment opportunities in available fields.
