Karbala Technical Institute Holds Workshop on Information and Data Security

As part of its ongoing series of academic activities, Karbala Technical Institute recently hosted a workshop on “Information and Data Security,” led by faculty member Ammar Jihad Khalaf. The session highlighted the major threats to data security and discussed how to effectively apply the three key principles: Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability.

The workshop also explored practical ways to implement these principles in line with the policies of an organization or client, as well as strategies for identifying system vulnerabilities and creating policies to protect them. The event was attended by a number of faculty and staff from both the department and the institute.
