Karbala Polytechnic College, one of the formations of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, received a ministerial committee from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to review the requirements for establishing the Therapeutic Nutrition Technologies Department<\/strong>. They were received by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Fadel Mohammed Dhaher, accompanied by the advanced staff at the college.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the visit, the committee reviewed the infrastructure, classrooms, scientific laboratories, and the technical and administrative capabilities specific to the department. They also followed up on the readiness of the educational environment that supports the establishment of the specialization in a manner consistent with the requirements of modern technical education and labor market needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the meeting, the Dean emphasized the college’s keenness to establish modern scientific specializations that contribute to supplying the health sector with specialized scientific competencies. He pointed out that the Therapeutic Nutrition Technology Department represents a qualitative addition that supports the academic and applied paths at the college.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The committee also discussed a number of scientific and administrative aspects related to the department’s future plans, study curricula, and academic staff, praising the efforts exerted by the College Deanship in developing its infrastructure and expanding its academic programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This visit comes within the framework of the directions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aimed at developing medical and health specializations and enhancing the quality of technical education to keep pace with the requirements of development and the needs of society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
