The division was established in 1988 and consists of the following sections :<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

1.Technical Training Unit<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

2.Website Development Unit<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

3.Computers and Networks Maintenance Unit, which includes : <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 – Network Unit<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

4.Systems and Software Unit, which includes : <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0– Systems and Database Development Unit<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n \n

<\/h4>\n

Key Responsibilities of the Unit:<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

1.Computerization of Exam Committee Data and continuous follow-up.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

2.Membership in the Central Examination Committee.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

3.Development of computer systems and software to automate administrative tasks such as payroll programs, student affairs systems, and library systems, among others.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

4.Organizing development courses for institute staff and other employees from the Technical Education Authority and Karbala Governorate institutions.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

5.Training computer center staff by nominating them for courses both inside and outside Iraq.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

6.Supervision of the unit\u2019s work in the electronic computing field, ensuring smooth operation and fulfillment of its tasks.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

7.Providing technical opinions regarding contracts related to computing.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

8.Signing official correspondence with other institutes’ computing units and relevant entities.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

9.Granting regular leave (up to 3 days) for unit staff within Iraq.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

10.Supervision of courses organized by the unit for internal and external entities.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

11.Signing promotion and annual allowance forms for the unit staff as the direct supervisor.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

12.Exercising any powers delegated by the Dean.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n
