Division Director: <\/span><\/span><\/strong>Prof. Dr. Tha’ira Abdul-Jabbar Saleh \u00a0<\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Division Responsibilities: <\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n

The division is responsible for nurturing students’ athletic and artistic talents and abilities, as well as providing opportunities for students to engage in physical activities during free time within official working hours, for both male and female students. It also organizes courses to improve writing skills, as well as calligraphy and Islamic decoration workshops. Additionally, the division offers lectures on color theory and how to apply it when creating artworks.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

An annual activity of the division is the organization of inter-departmental sports tournaments, featuring both team and individual games, such as table tennis, tennis, and chess. The division also participates in the general tournament of the Technical Education Authority within the Al-Furat Al-Awsat region, as well as in scout camp activities. Moreover, an art exhibition is held each year in the second semester to showcase students’ creative works.
The name of the division was changed to the Extracurricular Activities Division by the Technical Education Authority in 2007, and it was previously known as the University Sports Division.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
