The department was established in 1996 under the name “Secretarial Studies.” After some time, the name was changed to “Office Management” to encompass a broader range of administrative and office-related tasks. Initially, there was only one class, and the department had three faculty members. Over the years, as the admission plan expanded, the department saw significant growth, becoming one of the large administrative departments that accept more students than the planned capacity. It now accepts graduates from the scientific, literary, and vocational high school tracks.
