The results showed that pregnant women possess good knowledge, moderate attitudes, and very good practices regarding gestational diabetes, with a positive correlation between attitudes and practices, and a statistically significant relationship between knowledge and demographic characteristics.
The two participating academic staff members presented valuable scientific remarks that contributed to enriching the thesis and enhancing its research and academic aspects.
The study recommended the necessity of preparing comprehensive educational programs for pregnant women, along with training health cadres to provide integrated care and qualitative follow-up services for this important segment of society.
