Karbala Technical Institute Hosts Workshop on Modern Blood Collection Techniques and First Aid

As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance medical skills, Karbala Technical Institute’s Department of Medical Laboratory Technology, in collaboration with Karbala Health Directorate and Karbala Teaching Hospital for Children, recently organized a workshop titled “Modern Blood Collection Techniques and First Aid.” The event was held at the Imam Al-Ridha Hall and attended by several department staff members.

The workshop aimed to provide students with training on the latest blood collection methods and first aid procedures. Participants were introduced to modern, safe, and hygienic blood collection techniques, as well as emergency response strategies for providing first aid. The event also focused on strengthening students’ skills in applying health standards and occupational safety practices
