Karbala Technical Institute opens a Renewable Energy Laboratory.

Karbala Technical Institute’s Dean, Professor Dr. Fadel Mohammed Zaher, inaugurated the Renewable Energy Laboratory in the Renewable Energy Technology Department. The lab is a valuable addition, featuring the latest laboratory equipment provided by reputable global companies in the field of renewable energy.

The lab aims to cover a significant portion of the practical aspects of the curriculum for both first- and second-year students, enhancing their ability to complete practical projects and preparing them to enter the job market with competence. Among the prominent equipment in the lab is a complete solar energy generation system, a wind energy generation system, as well as a fully integrated weather station and advanced measuring instruments that are globally recognized.

In his speech during the opening ceremony, the Dean praised the exceptional efforts of the department’s administration, teaching, and technical staff in preparing the lab. He expressed his best wishes for the success of everyone involved in delivering outstanding services to the students and the country.
