University of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical Organizes Seminar on Patriotism and Dedication to Work

The Women’s Affairs Unit at Karbala Technical Institute, part of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, recently held a cultural seminar on patriotism and how to instill its values. The seminar was organized in collaboration with the Office Management Technology Department and the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department of Al-Ataba Al-Hussainiya.

The goal of the seminar was to emphasize the importance of fostering love for the homeland and strengthening the deep connection to it, while warning against the influence of misleading media that seeks to undermine this bond, particularly among the youth. The seminar also included a discussion on the significance of promoting patriotism as a religious duty, focusing on spreading ideas that nurture loyalty to the country in the younger generation, ultimately fostering a sense of national pride among university students. It is worth noting that this initiative aligns with the goals of the National Strategy for Iraqi Women, in accordance with the directives of the Women’s Affairs Department in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
