The Evening Study Program for the Department of Community Health Technology was established at the institute in 2015. The department includes a set of laboratories, including (Chemistry Lab, Medical Microbiology Lab, Nursing Fundamentals Lab, Pathology Lab, and Physiology and Anatomy Lab).

The department seeks to achieve quality and excellence by preparing highly skilled middle-level medical staff that align with scientific advancements, contributing to the development of the community.

 

 

:Mission

The department aims to train medical technical staff at a high scientific level through the use of the latest techniques in nursing services, occupational safety, and health control.

 

 

:Objectives

The department aims to graduate technical personnel who will work in the fields of (health, occupational safety, health inspection, and control), assisting in the implementation of primary health care monitoring, health awareness campaigns, and supporting physicians in diagnostic procedures in healthcare centers.

Graduates will be qualified to work in:
  1. 1. Health inspection and monitoring teams, assisting in laboratory testing of samples and ensuring their compliance with health standards.
  2. 2. The field of occupational health and safety.
  3. 3. Implementing primary health care programs.
  4. 4. Health survey teams and health awareness campaigns.
  5. 5. Assisting physicians in diagnostic, nursing, and therapeutic procedures during the execution of health programs.
  6. 6. Operating and maintaining medical equipment used in diagnostics and treatment.
  7. 7. Participating in surveys related to communicable diseases and managing their control.
