Based on the directives of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University supporting the axes of the National Strategy for Iraqi Women, and with the aim of establishing human values and enhancing the positive image of individuals with special needs, a number of the department’s staff members, in cooperation with the Women’s Affairs Unit, participated in implementing a set of community service activities, which included:
Visiting the Al-Raja Institute for Physical Disability, meeting with the educational staff and students of the institute, interacting with them, bringing joy to the children’s hearts, in addition to providing them with logistical support.
These initiatives come within the framework of enhancing the spirit of social solidarity and establishing societal responsibility among the department’s staff.
