Within the framework of joint cooperation between state institutions and scientific universities, the Mechanical Technology Engineering Department at Karbala Polytechnic College organized a scientific seminar titled “Solar Energy Irrigation Technologies to Achieve Agricultural Sustainability and Environmental Adaptation,” in cooperation with the Holy Karbala Water Resources Directorate.
The seminar was held in the hall of the Water Resources Directorate in the presence of a group of engineers and specialists in the field of irrigation and renewable energy. The seminar was presented by Engineer Intisar Rashid Saleh, who addressed during her lecture the latest developments in irrigation technologies using solar energy and their role in raising the efficiency of irrigation systems and reducing waste in water and energy consumption.
During the seminar, the most important modern engineering solutions relying on solar energy were reviewed, demonstrating the extent of their applicability in the reality of fieldwork within the province, thereby enhancing the trend towards sustainable irrigation and the optimal employment of natural resources.
