Within its strategy aimed at enhancing the paths of quality and institutional accreditation, and in harmony with the directions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University in consolidating the educational process and elevating the level of academic performance, Prof. Dr. Fadel Mohammed Dhaher, Dean of Karbala Polytechnic College, participated in the meeting held at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University with the delegation of the National Assessor Team and the Institutional Accreditation Council.
This participation came within the activities of the evaluation visit conducted by the delegation of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Apparatus, which aims to review the requirements for institutional accreditation and examine the reality of academic and administrative performance in the university’s formations, in addition to evaluating quality assurance mechanisms and documenting evaluation processes in educational programs.
The meeting witnessed the discussion of multiple axes related to the university’s strategic plans, performance indicators, and ways to develop the educational environment, alongside reviewing the efforts exerted in enhancing scientific research and community service. This contributes to achieving institutional accreditation standards according to the best academic practices.
This participation comes within the framework of the Deanship of Karbala Polytechnic College’s keenness to support the directions of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University in achieving institutional accreditation. This enhances its scientific status and keeps pace with the aspirations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research toward building a solid and sustainable educational system.
