Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Fadel Mohammed Dhaher, Dean of Karbala Polytechnic College, and the supervision of the Director of the Student Activities Division, Asst. Lect. Allawi Neamah, the college students participated in the cultural program “Shababik” (Windows). The program is directed at university students and broadcasted on the Karbala Satellite Channel, as part of efforts to support student talents and enhance their cultural and media presence.
The program’s segments included a dialogue axis that addressed the topic of mental health and its importance in the university environment. Light was shed on ways to enhance psychological awareness among youth and the role of educational institutions in supporting students’ psychological stability. The episode also included general knowledge and question segments, which witnessed distinguished interaction from the participants.
The program concluded by honoring the winning audience members in an interactive cultural atmosphere that reflected the spirit of initiative and positive competition among university students.
This participation falls within the Student Activities Division’s plan at Karbala Polytechnic College, which aims to develop students’ cultural and media capabilities, as well as enhance their dialogue skills and self-confidence. This is in line with the directions of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University regarding the support of extracurricular activities and refining the university student’s personality.
