Prof. Dr. Fadel Mohammed Dhaher, Dean of Karbala Polytechnic College, received Dr. Amna Al-Asadi, Secretary of the Karbala Provincial Council, on an official visit to the college, within the framework of enhancing institutional cooperation between the local government and academic institutions.
During the meeting, ways to support the educational process and develop the university environment were discussed. Dr. Al-Asadi confirmed the Provincial Council’s readiness to provide the necessary facilities and contribute to supporting the services provided to students, thereby enhancing the academic journey and elevating the level of institutional performance at the college.
The two sides also discussed prospects for supporting the tourism sector in Karbala province through the exchange of academic and technical expertise, and contributing to completing the requirements for preparing a tourist guide. They also discussed supporting efforts to open the museum belonging to the Tourism Technology Department, which contributes to enhancing the applied and cognitive aspects for students and linking education outcomes with the needs of the local labor market.
At the end of the visit, Dr. Amna Al-Asadi expressed her thanks and appreciation for the warm reception, praising the academic role the college plays in serving the local community. For his part, the College Dean valued this initiative and the Provincial Council’s interest in supporting educational institutions, affirming the college’s keenness to expand areas of cooperation to serve sustainable development in Karbala province.
