On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, drawing inspiration from its values of faith and worship, and the meanings of goodness, giving, and solidarity it carries, the Community Health Technology Department at Karbala Polytechnic College held a Quranic session under the patronage of the College Deanship. The session was attended by Prof. Dr. Fadel Mohammed Dhaher, Dean of the College; his Associate for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Fadel Neamah; and the Head of the Community Health Technology Department, Prof. Dr. Salem Hussein Hassan, along with a number of the college’s faculty, staff, and students.

The session included the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, as the attendees took turns reading from the Holy Book. This was accompanied by an explanation of several noble verses and a clarification of some religious rulings related to the holy month of Ramadan.

Following the call to Maghrib prayer, the attendees performed the Maghrib and Isha prayers in congregation. They then headed to the new student club building to partake in the Iftar banquet in an atmosphere of faith prevailed by a spirit of familiarity and brotherhood among the attendees, enhancing the spiritual and social values embodied by this holy month.
