The implementation works of the new scientific department building project continue at Karbala Polytechnic College, under the direct supervision and field follow-up of the College Dean, Prof. Dr. Fadel Mohammed Dhaher, and with technical and engineering efforts exerted by the engineering staff at the college, as part of a comprehensive plan for infrastructure development and academic expansion.
This project comes within the framework of enhancing absorption capacity and creating new scientific departments that align with the requirements of institutional transformation from a technical institute to a polytechnic college. It also aims to keep pace with the growing increase in student numbers, reflecting a strategic vision aimed at building a modern and sustainable university environment.
The engineering staff at the college assumes the tasks of technical supervision and management of the engineering aspects of the project. This includes following up on the implementation stages and ensuring adherence to the approved plans and specifications, achieving the highest standards of quality and structural safety. During his field tours, the Dean also emphasized the necessity of adhering to the specified timelines and accelerating the pace of work to ensure the completion of the project according to the drawn plans.
This project is considered an important strategic step in the college’s development journey, in harmony with the vision of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and the directions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aimed at supporting reconstruction and development projects in technical education institutions.
