A delegation from Karbala Polytechnic College, headed by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Fadel Mohammed Dhaher, visited the Department of Labor and Vocational Training (Karbala Branch) to discuss mechanisms for training the college’s graduates and enhancing their qualification opportunities for the labor market. They were received by Engineer Haider Khalaf Abdul, Director of the Department of Labor and Vocational Training in Holy Karbala.

During the visit, ways of joint cooperation were discussed regarding the organization of specialized training courses that contribute to developing the graduates’ skills and raising their professional readiness, in line with the needs of the labor market and the requirements of various sectors.

Both sides emphasized the importance of integrating roles between the academic institution and the authorities concerned with training and employment. This contributes to supporting development paths and empowering young talents to actively engage in the work environment.

This visit comes within the framework of the College’s keenness to expand its institutional partnerships, in accordance with the directions of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and the strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aimed at linking higher education outcomes with labor market needs.
