Mechanical Engineering Technology Department Opens Diverse Charity Market at Karbala Polytechnic College

The Technological Incubators and Ecosystem Unit at Karbala Polytechnic College organized the activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week by hosting the “Riyada” Exhibition for Investment and Innovation, with wide participation from scientific departments and divisions. This event was held within the framework of supporting a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation and fostering a spirit of initiative among students.
The exhibition was opened by the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and Students, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Fadel Al-Yasiri, in the presence of the Associate Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Kadhim Al-Sharifi, and a number of college staff and personnel.
The activities also included a charity market in the Business Administration Technology Department, held in cooperation with the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine. The market featured a diverse display of products and student initiatives that reflected the students’ creativity and entrepreneurial skills, contributing to the development of their practical and applied aspects.
These events align with the College’s directions aimed at establishing concepts of entrepreneurship, encouraging students towards innovation and voluntary work, and strengthening joint cooperation with institutions that support humanitarian and developmental work.
The activities received distinct interaction from students and faculty, who affirmed the importance of continuing such qualitative activities that contribute to building the student’s personality and developing their entrepreneurial and societal capabilities.
