Karbala Polytechnic College Holds Celebration on the Occasion of the Birth of the Lady of the Worlds, Fatimah Al-Zahra (PBUH)

The Department of Business Administration Techniques at Karbala Polytechnic College held a joyful celebration on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Lady of the Worlds, the Pure and Truthful Fatimah Al-Zahra (peace be upon her). The event was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Fadel Mohammed Dhaher, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and Students, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Fadel Al-Yasiri, the Associate Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Kadhim Al-Sharifi, as well as several department heads, faculty members, staff, and students. The ceremony was emceed by Asst. Lect. Kamal Ali Hussein, Director of the Media and Government Communication Division at Karbala Polytechnic College.

The ceremony began with verses from the Holy Quran recited by Mr. Amir Karim, followed by the reading of Surah Al-Fatiha. The Dean then delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of drawing inspiration regarding ethical and humanitarian values from the biography of Lady Al-Zahra (PBUH) and using them as a starting point for building a conscious and responsible university character.

The activities included a video presentation on the visitation (Ziyarat) of Lady Fatimah Al-Zahra (PBUH), followed by another video display featuring praises and nasheeds dedicated to the Lady of the Worlds, adding an atmosphere of faith and spirituality to the event.

The ceremony also featured an educational lecture delivered by Sheikh Aqeel Al-Hamdani, in which he discussed the values embodied by Lady Fatimah Al-Zahra (PBUH) and her role in establishing principles of giving, awareness, and responsibility in scientific and social life.

In the context of the activities, a number of female students committed to wearing the Abaya were honored in appreciation of their adherence to ethical values inspired by the biography of Lady Al-Zahra (PBUH). They were honored by the Scientific Associate, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Fadel Al-Yasiri, and the Administrative Associate, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Kadhim Al-Sharifi. The students were: (Hawraa Salim, Zainab Bassem, Mishkat Abbas, Manar Mohammed, Banin Khalid, Alia Falah, and Aya Jassim). Additionally, the student representative, Abdul Hamid Ali, was honored by the Head of the Business Administration Techniques Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Jabbar Hadi, in appreciation of his efforts in performing his duties and representing his colleagues with a spirit of responsibility.

The ceremony concluded with the cutting of the celebration cake, with the participation of the Dean, guests, and the staff of the Business Administration Techniques Department, amidst an atmosphere of joy and pride in this fragrant anniversary.
