Professor Dr. Fadhil Mohammed Thahir, Dean of Karbala Polytechnic College, participated in the regular meeting of the deans of Iraqi engineering technology colleges. The meeting was held at Bilad Alrafidain University in Diyala Governorate as part of the ongoing academic cooperation and coordination among technical education institutions in Iraq.
During the meeting, the Dean received two letters of thanks and appreciation, one from the presidency of Bilad Alrafidain University and another from the Committee of Deans of Engineering Technology Specializations. This was in recognition of his distinguished efforts and effective contributions to supporting academic work and enhancing the quality of technical and engineering education.
In its letter, the presidency of Bilad Alrafidain University praised “the prominent role and effective contribution of Professor Dr. Fadhil Mohammed Thahir in the success of the regular meeting of the deans of Iraqi engineering technology colleges.” The Committee of Deans of Engineering Technology Specializations also valued “his sincere and distinguished efforts in performing the committee’s duties in service of the technical education process in Iraq.”
This honor reflects the high academic standing of Karbala Polytechnic College and its vital role within Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University (ATU) in advancing technical and engineering education. This aligns with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s directives toward enhancing institutional integration and elevating the quality of academic performance in Iraqi higher education institutions.
