Karbala Polytechnic College Launches Training Program on Creative Tourism Marketing Skills

Karbala Polytechnic College recently hosted a ministerial committee from the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Apparatus of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The visit was part of a formal program to assess the scientific and academic performance of the college’s medical departments.
The committee was officially welcomed by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Fadhil Mohammed Thahir, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Kadhim Al-Sharifi. They were joined by the heads of the medical departments, Prof. Dr. Salim Hussein Hassan and Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdulridha Mirza, along with the Director of the Quality Assurance Division, Asst. Prof. Ali Naama Hassan.
The visiting committee, chaired by Dr. Ali Ghanim Kateh, conducted a comprehensive field tour of the medical departments’ classrooms and scientific laboratories. They were accompanied by the college’s quality assurance unit officials: Asst. Prof. Dr. Bilqis Saadoun Jassim (Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies) and Asst. Prof. Maytham Salim Attia (Department of Community Health Technologies). The inspection also extended to the college’s administrative divisions and units to evaluate the level of academic and scientific performance and verify compliance with the ministry’s approved standards.
At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Kateh praised the medical departments for their high level of commitment to applying academic quality standards. He commended the efforts of the College Deanship and its staff in fostering a distinguished educational environment that actively contributes to the development of students’ scientific and practical skills.
This visit aligns with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s broader efforts to enhance institutional quality and monitor the development of academic programs across Iraqi universities, ensuring they meet the requirements of modern education and academic accreditation standards.
