
Technical Institute of Karbala Expands Its Engagement in Soft Skills Training Program under the International “Tawasul” Project

Prof. Dr. Fadel Muhammad Dhahir, Dean of the Technical Institute of Karbala, held an extended meeting that brought together department heads and several directors of administrative units and divisions. The meeting is part of a series of preparatory sessions aimed at ensuring the institute’s effective participation in the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), as well as setting the stage for the commencement of the 2025–2026 academic year.
Discussions focused on both logistical and technical preparations for organizing the institute’s service mawakib along the pilgrims’ route. These include:
The Dean emphasized the importance of close coordination among the relevant departments to ensure the highest quality of service delivery to the pilgrims, in alignment with the institute’s mission of community engagement and public service.
The meeting also addressed preparations for the upcoming academic year, especially in light of the implementation of the new Polytechnic system. The Dean and attendees reviewed proposed plans, task allocations, and the infrastructure and educational environment upgrades required to enhance both the academic and practical experiences of students.
In his closing remarks, the Dean underscored the importance of teamwork and institutional synergy in the success of both national and educational initiatives, commending the efforts of staff across all departments and administrative units.
