Delegation from Karbala Technical Institute Visits Karbala Governor to Discuss Academic and Service Cooperation

A delegation from the Karbala Technical Institute, led by Professor Dr. Fadel Mohammed Thaher, Dean of the Institute, visited Engineer Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, Governor of the Holy City of Karbala, to extend congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and to welcome him back safely from the Holy Lands following the completion of Hajj rituals. During the meeting, both parties discussed a range of important issues related to the educational mission of the Institute and explored ways to support its academic and service-oriented functions. The discussions also covered prospects for enhanced cooperation between the local government and the Institute, with the aim of benefiting the Institute’s students and staff, and strengthening the Institute’s role in advancing community development

Dean Dr. Thaher reaffirmed the Institute’s commitment to maintaining ongoing communication and coordination with governmental bodies to enhance infrastructure and improve the academic environment. He commended Governor Al-Khattabi’s sustained interest in the education sector and his continued support for academic institutions across the province.

For his part, Governor Al-Khattabi expressed his appreciation for the scientific and educational efforts undertaken by the Karbala Technical Institute. He reiterated his full support for development initiatives and emphasized the vital role of technical education in meeting the needs of the local labor market. The Governor also announced his intention to visit the Institute in the near future to gain firsthand insight into its current conditions and requirements.
